Official Archeological Dig Begins Chicago's Civil War

With preliminary yet sophisticated advanced imagery, it’s been determined that the time (which quickly turns into money) spent delving into an official archeological dig, may uncover collections of Chicago’s Camp Douglas Civil War remains.

George D. Levy, researcher, founder, and author of, “To DIE in CHICAGO:  Confederate Prisoners at Camp Douglas 1862-65” is the impetus behind it all.  Levy shall make a presence as well.

Big players include, but are not limited to, Loyola University, Northern Michigan University, the Abraham Lincoln Sesquicentennial Foundation, and the Chicago Park District.

More headline news on this tomorrow.
