Spanish Golden Age Emblems and the Light

The real life assimilation of the American Civil War and the Spanish Golden Age, as I've mentioned, are for me each drawn from a familial renowned virtuoso, George D. Levy and John T. Cull. So today, let's talk about John T. Cull's doctoral dedication to Spanish Golden Age Emblems.

Of the four photos above, the snake is my favorite Spanish Golden Age Emblem, by Hernando de Soto, the latter 1500's.

A crucial reason that these Emblems are utterly important is because say, Golden Age poems, for example, cannot be considered without them.

Emblematical significance by the way sprouted all over Europe likely prior to Spain. But for Lucky Cull's purpose, we'll stick to Spain, yes? Thank you!
