Access

What would you do today if you had no Web access?  As a people, we've come so far in so little time.  And today with world wide access, I have to wonder why it is we still go backwards?  Is it changing though, for the better?

I know what it's like without access.  In my recent quest to learn more about computers, I spent near three long months without.  What I missed most was keeping in touch with my family, people in my industry, old friends.  That was the toughest part.

Prior to this hiatus, I thought that for me to get by, all I needed were my books.  Ha!  We almost need it, no?

If we act responsibly, this computer revolution will surely only help our species to all get along, in a good way.  Do you agree?
